Clive Christian
Clive Christian is an iconic British perfume house, known for its taste for controlled excess and its commitment to the most demanding craftsmanship. Heir to the former Crown Perfumery, founded in 19th-century London, the house still retains the crown symbol on its bottles, echoing its history linked to the British crown.
The world of the house evokes both the architectural elegance of English interiors and the theatricality of a great haute parfumerie fragrance. It features rich accords, strong contrasts, and a true ambition to create a "statement fragrance": creations that are confident, assertive, and leave a lasting impression.

The little anecdote
One day, while renovating his Cheshire manor house, Clive Christian and his daughter discovered an old perfume bottle hidden beneath the floorboards. On the stopper was a royal crown, the emblem of Crown Perfumery, a historic house founded in 1872 and authorized by Queen Victoria to use its symbol. Intrigued by this relic of the past, he delved into the history of this forgotten company and eventually acquired the rights to revive it. From this almost accidental discovery was born the Clive Christian perfume house as we know it today, which perpetuates the crowned bottle shape as a tribute to this unique origin and the legacy of Crown Perfumery.
